When I was a boy I was a drummer in a Drum and Bugle Corps, and we had to learn the 26 Rudiments of Drumming, starting from a Simple Tap to a Complex Triple Radamacue. I taught myself how to play fingerstyle guitar, and developed these Rudiments of Fingerpicking to help my students learn how to play progressively complex guitar fingerpicking figures.
